Les Comtes De Provence traditional and organic jams are made in Provence by expertise inherited from ancient jam recipes and cooked in pots. Our 30 years’ expertise as a jam-maker has allowed us to develop delicious recipes. The Jams are rich in fruit, taste and flavour. Long considered a luxury item, jams became commonplace in the early nineteenth century with the discovery of beet sugar. Today, jam is considered a food of fun and has become an emblem of French culture, pairing with “French toast” and for use in a bread-butter-jam sandwich.
This old fashioned-style (à l’ancienne) Four Red Fruits Jam recipe is cooked in a traditional cauldron and uses 55% fruit and high quality cane sugar. Contains no artificial colors, flavor enhancers, preservatives or GMOs. Just the pure flavor and texture of the jams and preserves of yesteryear
